  • All Hawaii nurses are required to complete 30 hours of CE in order to renew a license
  • APRNs are required to complete 8 hours of Pharmacology training, all of which count towards the 30 hour requirement
    • The Board's Continuing Competency guidance document further specifies that the remaining 22 hours must be in the APRN's area of specialty (which would exclude "general" CE).

The next renewal period for Hawaii LPN and RN licenses ends June 30, 2019
