  • Alaska nurses are required to complete 30 hours of CE to renew a license
  • APRNs must complete a minimum of 12 hours in Pharmacology, and 12 hours of clinical management of patients, all of which may count towards the 30-hour threshold
  • All nurses with DEA registration must complete 2 hours of education in pain management and opioid use and addiction
