New York State NursingCE Requirements

New York Registered Nurse (RN) CE Requirements

You are required to complete 3 CE hours in infection control every 4 years. There is a one-time requirement to complete 2 CE hours in child maltreatment.

New York Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) CE Requirements

You are required to complete 3 CE hours in infection control every four years.

New York Nurse Practitioner (NP) CE Requirements

You are required to complete 3 CE hours in infection control every 4 years. There is a one-time requirement to complete 2 CE hours in child maltreatment. You must maintain national certification.
